Molly Due to Give Birth Soon

Ok...I bought a 2.5 gallon tank with a deco art nano filter for a 3 gallon tank, so its being filtered and cleaned, and all looks well. I filled it with water thats treated with aqua safe about 3 hours ago, and just set up the filter, its been running for about 10 minutes now. Cleaned gravel is also in the tank. The temperature looks fine, and I have a bushel of some leafy plant in the center for hiding...should I move them from the net breeder in my 10 gallon now?

Nope, don't move them. That tank has to cycle, unless you cloned your existing one?

Though it sounds like a very nice tank for them...I'm sure they'll enjoy in, once they get in there. And remember, on tanks that small, you need to do frequent water changes, because the water quality goes down quickly with all those feedings and food they miss!

Take a handful of gravel from your exising tnk and add it to the new one. IMO it won't take much to seed it because 10 fry aren't going to produce much waste...at least not more than a handful or two of gravel couldn't handle.
