Hey guys,
I'm a new fish owner (2 mths or so) and I've been reading and following all the topics very closely, but I still need a little help with my molly! She's looking a little squarish (am I wrong?) but not that roundish so I'm not sure if she's due! Based on what I've read the shape is more important than trying to find the gravid spot right? I can't see a gravid spot anyway and I'm assuming that since she looks squarish, she's due?? She's been looking like this for the last 3 days though (she did grow a little). Her behaviour hasn't changed much though, she doesn't seem to be hanging around the filter/heater, being anti-social, etc. As for the white spot near the anal fin, I don't see one, with my other Silver molly I couldn't see one either (they swim so quick and I have problems spotting it!) but she was squarish and really round so I knew she was due. I'm confused! I really wanna save the fry because I hate waking up knowing they could have lived but I didn't do anything about it
Here are two pictures that I took today, about 3 hours after she had her first meal. If someone could help me out that'll be great!
Heh, thanks
Heh, I attached a random picture of my 3 week old mollies that I successfully bred thanks to all the advice on the forums. Only 1 survived from my first batch but this one's going well! They're too cute!
