Alrighty, so I got 2 new dalmation mollies for my tank, and I was wondering if there was anything I should know. I have 4 red wag platy's in there, as well as 2 otocinclus catfish catfish, and 1 kuhli loach. I've got them all in a 20 gallon tank. I've got a male and a female molly, and I will be getting 2 more once I can afford it. :)

Thanks!

Also, after I bought them somebody told me that they can't live together, but they seem to be doing great. And everyone else has them together and they seem to be doing fine.

I could be wrong but it kinda sounds to me that you are about to over stock your tank if not already. What I have always known is 1 inch of fish needs 1 gallon of water. Red wags can get up to 3 inches and so can the Dolmation mollies. That will be 18 inches right there..just for the 4 red wags and the 2 dolmation mollies, and the loach can get up to 4.. thats already over 20. Then you have the catfish, I dont know what size they get and your trying to add 2 more dolmation mollies.

Maybe they are different since I never kept them, but that is what I have always known as the golden rule when it comes to stocks in your tank. Unless the fish is a messy one then 2-3 gallons per inch but from what I've heard they arent that messy.
Also they normally say when you are going to have males and females to have 1 male to at least 2 females. Again just what I have heard. As for red wags and dolmation mollies getting along, i've never seen anyone have issues with them from what I have heard they are both peaceful fish.

My male and female mollies get along just fine too, but you might get lots of babies!

You are fine with your combination of fish. The mollies and platies won't cross breed so you are safe that way and the otos and khuli are nice, low bioload, fish. IMO you even have room for the first drop of mollies or platies to share te tank if you have adequate cover for the fry to survive. After that things will get very tight unless you can remove most of the fry.
