Mollies

Mollies can live up to 2-3 years, about the same as guppies. Saying that i have had a 4 year old guppy, depends how well you keep them.

Inbreeding can be bad if it reaches the 4-5 generation, but sometimes you should be fine.
Some of the problems can include weak immune systems, bent deformed bodies, they can be prone to more diseases.

Not 100% sure about the inbreeding answer D&D. I don't think you can put a number on it.

I am assuming you are talking about the cultivated varieties, in which case you will not know about the heritage of the fish anyways. Whilst the symptoms you refer to can be caused by inbreeding they can also be caused by other things such as a dip in husbandry and / or problems caused by overstocking (which is a common problem with livebearers).

That said it is a good idea to introduce new blood into a breeding programme every now and again to keep the gene pool moving and fresh.
