I have mollies that are 2 inches each andi bought a peppered cory catfish to go with my other three adults my question is will he get eaten and if so should I put him in a separate fish bowl till he gets bigger? Or go ahead and put him in the 20 gallon?

It would be the largest thing I ever saw a mollie eat by a margin. I think you will be just fine.

He should be fine but you'll probably never see him if he's by himself, cories live in groups and usually a minimum of 6 is recommended.

Corys are also going to need a different substrate. Corys feed by sifting through soft sand. Gravel, like in your pic, can cause their barbells become infected and wear away.

Mollies won't eat cories... So, they shopuld be fine together.
