Mollies Breeding

I have a red sunset mollie ....i think its a boy...but im not sure....but is it possible for it to it to mate with one of my other fishes??? The others in the tank are swordfish, platys n tetras....

Mollies are livebearers, so I doubt it. I'm new to fish though, so I may be wrong, but it would be like a cat and dog breeding... right? They just wont do it.

When she has a gravid spot behind her belly and yes platys and swordies can mate.

i have heard that it is true that platies, mollies and swordtails can all cross breed. your can tell if it is a male by the anal fin. the males is pointed and the females is sorta fan like. the gravid spot will become very dark in the last few days before giving birth.
