Some one was trying to sell me his molly/guppy crossbreeds today. I haven't seen his fish yet, but he claims that since the only male in the tank with his molly females is a guppy, they must be a cross. I mentioned that live bearers can store sperm for 5-6 pregnancies, but he claims that he'd separeted these girls early enough that thats not an issue. What do you think? Could there be any truth in what he's saying, or is he deluding himself and/or trying to trick me? Personally, I dont think it could happen.
