Hi and welcome :)

Congrats on your molly and fry,i would put the female in the tank now,she may end up eating the fry or become stressed from being trapped.
Well fry will be ok in the trap for a week or so,but really could do with setting up a fry tank,a plastic storage box would do for the time being, although it will need a heater and sponge filter for the fry.the fry should be ok without food for 24 hrs or so has they will use the egg sac,but then you will need to crush up flakes very finely and feed 2/3 times a day :)

Welcome to the forum Keeman. Congrats on the fry drop. Harlequins advice on this is right on the money. Please help us understand your situation. Do you have a fairly large tank with just mollies in it or is it more of a community tank with a lot of predators in it?
