Mollie With White Spot

hi does any one know how/if you can kill white spot off without using chemicals from your fish store? liam

They say raise temp and salt but it dosn't always work.
I would rather add a med myself or you are risking the fish life.

If all you have is mollies then you can vary the salinity (taking the specific gravity up to 1.005 shouldn't stress the filter bacteria too much) upwards which should cause the pathogen to die. One of thr great advantages of brackish fish is being able to shift the salinity around to stop almost any pathogen taking too big a hold.
