One of my mums mollies has white spot? Can anyone suggest what to do. Should I seperate it from the rest? I only have a plastic goldfish bowl would this do for a few days while i treated it if the room was kept at a warm temperature?

Please help

No don't separate the fish. Whitespot is a very infectious parasite and its likely that the other fish in the tank are infected with it but are not showing the symptoms yet, so should treat the tank as a whole.
How many gallons is the tank and what is its stocking? Do you use dechlorinator and is the tank heated and filtered? What is the tanks temp as well as how often do you do water changes and how much do you take out on average?
See here for more info on how the whitespot parasite works;

Due to the various life cycles of the parasite, some of which can be seen on the fish and others which show no external symptoms, you should treat the fish for up to 3 weeks+ and avoid buying any new fish for at least further 2weeks after that to help prevent the parasite coming back. "Anti whitespot" by Interpet is a good medication for treating whitespot :good: .
