Hey our mollie swe just bought are having babies! We seperated the female from the tank and put her in a betta cup to have her babies but we dont have any liquid fry food. All we have is blood worms, flakes, and Baby Shrimp. Is any of this okay to feed them?

how many females do you have pregnant exactly. Mollies have quite large babies, but baby shrimp (brine shrimp) should be fine but only if it is in a liquid or very fine powder form. You could also get the flakes into a pestle and mortar or an old bowl would do and rub the food into a powder. Blood worm is probably to large and is best for larger fry and adults. Hope this helps

how long will it take for them to get big enough to put back in the 10 gallon tank with the other mollies?

I wouldn't feed them liquid food just because it pollutes the water, even finely crushed fish flakes will work.... Where do you plan on keeping these babies? Not in the Betta cup right? I would get like another 5 or 10 gallon tank to raise the fry in. You can add the babies as soon as they are big enough and will not fit into another fishes mouth. How many babies did she end up having?

We are feeding them crushed up food, and weve got them in a betta bowl now, and was thinking of moving our betta from his 1 gallon tank into the bowl and putting the babies in the 1 gallon tank. Were not sure if she's done having babies yet, but she's had 5 so far and we think we have another female getting ready to have babies.

Congratulations :D

Will probably be a month or 2 before you can put them in with the other fish.
Fry have a very fast metabolism and you should really be feeding them several times a day, small ammounts.
