Hi! New to the forum!
It seems my one Sunburst Platy has breeded with my Mollies. Is this common and will it cause any problems? The reason I suspect this is I have one female Platy and many Mollies. I noticed some fry and assumed one of my Molllies had given birth upon closer inspection I noticed one fry that was shaped like a mollie but had the markings of my sunburst platy (orange body black fins). All the fry seem healthy.
I also have a male guppie trying to mate with my male golddust mollie. I got him 2 lovely female guppies the other day but hes still harassing the poor Molllie. Just thought I would share that. :)
Thanks for any insight or advice!

Welcome to the forum Notnormalgirl.

A platy did not deliver any molly / platy fry. That cross is not possible. On the other hand, a platy can carry sperm packets for at least 6 months so it is entirely possible to have one drop fry when you don't have any other platies in your tank.
