MOBB show this weekend

And of course my babes are in route as I type, to go and check in.
I sent in 15 babes,but this show is sort of saddening because I've grown quite attached to my reds in the past few months.And now they're off to new adventures and I have no idea of their destiny. Probably a breeders room somewhere out there.
It took so long to get them to this point and I gotta admit that right now they are at their prime and looking smashing . I snapped a few pics as I was boxing them up yesterday,but they were already bagged so most came out crappy ,but these two in particular crack me up.
This is the look I get from all of them as they're going in the box. It's almost a "Whatchoo talkin' 'bout,Willis?" look

Awww cuties! I sure hope they are headed for wonderful exciting lives. The second one tugs at my heart the most, I think it's just the way he's looking at you Blurry or not, they are beautiful!

The name of the betta club based out of Virginia. They're hosting the show
I just went and checked the tracking number and the box was signed for at 10 this morning,so they're there Whew!!

How come they don't return the fish??

Meh, I could get them back,but I really have so many that there is no point. Plus the shipping twice in a week is extremely stressful on them. So instead,when a show is far away like this, I just send them in and let the club auction them afterwards.
It works out because I get to spread my fish around and make my shipping money back. It's the mommy attachment that is hard to get over,that's all When I adopt fish on the forum it's all good because I know where they are and what's become of them. These just go off into the world and that's all I know of them.

My local club is hosting our own International show in June. Perhaps a betta bus trip down to Texas is in order for you all

Yes they just arrived 5 minutes ago I have them sitting in the bathroom with a night light on to get them used to the light again. They are looking great so far! Sorry to hijack your thread lol but I knew you would worry. *hugs*

Not hijacking. That's what I've been putt putt'ing around here all day for, just waiting to hear. One more box needs to land and I can breathe freely . Glad they made it safely
