Since my MM platy had her fry on 1st oct,and had a difficult drop, she tends to sit the bottom when the males are around, she does swim around as normal, eating, pooing etc...

I wondered if this is her way of avoiding the males attention?
She is pregnant again and i'm quite worried that she might have another stressful drop, last drop she had lots of unborn embryos stuck to her bottom, but did drop around 40 fry.

watching her now she is swimming around quite normally with the white spotted male following her,he doesn't follow any of the other females just my MM,if he gets too close she will go and sit on the gravel?

Anyone heard of this before?

I Haven't seen anything like that before with my previous experiences, but I'm wondering what sort of male/female ratio you have? Wondering of she's being harassed by too many males? Just a thought What you think? :dunno:

2 males 4 females, she did drop in the tank yesterday of around 23 that i found, she still sits on the bottom at times, but looks better than she did last time and is swimming around happily at the moment.
Strangely enough the white spotted male doesn't bug her,he just stays close by,not like the other male who well is very active!
