Have 2 mollies and 2 swordtails and hope to get some cory cats or bristlenose. Should I add salt to keep mollies healthy or will it affect the other fish, including the cats I plan to get? If YES how much salt should I add?

no dont add salt the other fish wont like it. not all mollys need salt alot of them are breed in freshwater now so if they where kept in freshwater at your lfs they will be fine with no salt

corys and BN's dont get on with salt!!!!!!

To keep mollies healthy you have have to have perfect water quality.
So keep up with water changes and watch you nitrates levels

They came from someone who had them in a tank with angelfish and keyhole cichlids -also have snails in my molly tank so I guess forget the salt.
