mixed breed platy

i have a few different types of platies, but one of my babies looks like a blue micky mouse platy

however it has black stripes like a tiger barb, i'm guessing it might be cross bred with a white calico platy,

because thats the only platy i have with black markings on it (they have black spots becoming more dence towards the tail, my main question is has anyone else got a platy like this? or is it unique? i'll try to take a picture of it, but it is still very small...or maybe it was a blue micky mouse and one of my other platies, but non of them have stripes either http/members.lycos.co.uk/sakaspuds/fish.html

Danged fish...we oughta keep em all in fish chastity belts....they'll chase anything with cute fins! That's a really cute platy by the way in the first picture. I'll be curious to hear what others have to say on this.

According to my local shop, the very first pic in this thread is a blue neon platty. I have a couple of them, and one gave birth yesterday! They look *really* good under flourescent tank light, that photo doesn't do them justice... The front 3/4 of their head and body is that shiny blue & silver colour...

i managed to capture the stripy neon blue micky mouse platy fry, has anyone seen a platy like it? it is 100% like a neon blue fry, same size and shape, but it has stripes

i dont know about anyone else, but platy fry are very fast and inteligent compared to molly and guppy fry, they avoid being eaten in the tank with the bigger fish far better than any other fry, i feel safe letting them in the tank when they are still very small

i think that all neon blue platy fry look like that,
i have had noen fry before that looked exactly the same
if you look closely on the adult you might see feint markings like that on the adult
