Misty Water

ive got a 456 litre tank running an eheim 2028 and 2212 internal. upgrading to a 2080 very soon. my water seems to have a slightly misty look to it most of the time. have got floss in the filter so not much in the way of actual debris. sand substrate weekly vac and 40% water change.

any ideas as to reason for the mistiness? stats fine 0 ammo and 0 nitrite fish healthy just id like it crystal clear again.

it could be dirty glass or a minor bacterial bloom.
Try feeding less food less often and do some daily water changes.

ive sussed what it is a bit too much food and not enough filtration combined with my fish being messy eaters. get a lot of little suspended particles which my filter takes ages to remove as working it out ive only just got 2x turnover so its taking the filter ages to process it. witheld food for a day and it was crystal clear. should be sorted once i upgrade my filtration in the next few days .
