How many of you have done that? Gone somewhere, seen a striking betta, and promised yourself you'd come back to get him, either to set up, get cash, put groceries away, etc.

Man there is this one male ct betta at walmart. He has a white body with a little bit of red splotched on him. Then he has clear finnage with a tine bit of red on his finnage as well. He is AMAZING though!

Then at a lfs there is this really handsome dt he has a white body and clear finnage.

At Big Als there is a blue butterfly halfmoon for only $13.00CAD. My parents think that its waaaaay to much for a betta but I think if I showed them the prices on aquabid for example they could see how great of a deal he is! Not to mention he is beautiful!!!

So what fish do you want but can't have?

I actually never look at the betta because I know I can't have another.... I go out of my way to avoid the cups of death.

I really really really want a raphael catfish, though. I figure if I get that 55 gallon tank from Walmart, I could do two raphael catfish, and like, a baggillion female bettas.... Last time I looked they had itty bitty baby females........

I can dream, can't I? :D

I'd love a birchir but know nothing about them.

and My tank is to small for one and Im yet to see one at my LFS's

where in canada are you at?

ive been to big als, i love it, but i have never ever bought a betta from there

:( I go into every place I can where they sell live fish.....I know I dont NEED another one and I havent any space but if I saw a yellow one or a really pretty ill one I have got a couple of those plastic boxes stashed away.....

If there's one I want that bad, I go ahead and buy it because I know I'd regret not doing it later. I have no self control, none whatsoever

Yes, where in Canada are you? Also you, Guppies everywhere?

I am also in Canada.

And yes, I know what you mean about having the betta you wanted being sold. It sucks quite badly!!

I'm in Southern Ontario about an hour north of Toronto. You were aking me right? :p

At the big Al's I go to they take excellent care of their bettas and all of their other fish.

I was at a Big Al's once, all their bettas looked like they were dying at the bottom of their cups. I mean they had some beautiful varieties, wonderful colours and finnage, but they all looked really sick and dying and their water was filthy. None of them were moving. I am pretty sure some of them were actually dead..

I'm glad yours is better than the one I went to though. It was in Kitchener/Waterloo.

Man, once I saw this really nice black marbled PK at Something Fishy, and I could've boughten him too, I had another tank at home and all. But my dad said I had too many bettas and pretty much forced me out of the store. :-(

God, so many times. I was once at Walmart and saw this beautiful whiteish bodied with purple and mint green finned VT.. He was so pretty. and then when I went to Petsmart I saw a purple and white CT, came back for him the next day, and he was gone..

Let me just say this. I did get another ebtta but I wanted another guy as well:

Multi-pastal-coloured single ray ct!

Man he was handsome. i should have tried to get both of em....
