Missing Halfbeaks

Where have my halfbeaks gone? I fed my tank daphnia earlier...about an hour later i looked in my tank and could only see 1! The other 2 are missing Ive looked in my filter...dunno where else they could be!
Could they have jumped out or something?

Check around the floor.
Can you remove ornaments and plants as fish are very good at hiding.
