im not sure that u could actualyy describe this as an emergency but i have a missing fish.its likely dead-a guppy that had fin rot. i cant find it anywhere. i had 2 tiny catfish, a male/female dwarf gourami. honey red gourami and 2 other male guppies in the tank at the time of his disappearance. is it possible the dead fish was eaten?

I have had fish go missing as well, never to be found again.
I would say the others might have eaten it.
ONE fish i did find it was half eaten by the others.

It's likely the poor little guy has been eaten :-( but... you never know! I had a platy hide for a few days once! I had ripped the tank apart, searching in the plants, shaking out the decorations and 'hiding' spots and couldn't see here, then suddenly one day *poof* there she was!! ... to this day i have no idea where she hid for so long

Good luck!

I was amazed to find when cleaning out my filter lastnight a baby guppy..popped the filter in a jug as usual to use the water retained to clean the pads then tipped the cartridge upside down and with the water out came the little fella(or girl ;) )

Two days later and its doing just fine in a breeding net...I think it will be known as Lucky....Very Lucky :D

That nice, be careful as this happened to me looked fine then came down with columnaris.

I've had missing fish too. They usually appear after a few days.

What scare is my 1 gallon betta bowls. I have one silk plant in each and I manage to not see the fish in there sometimes!!
