Missing Fish?

Hi, can anyone help me. I have got two parrot fish and my smaller one has completely vanished! I fed them this morning and I saw him at tea time and, after searching everywhere in the tank, there is absolutely no sign of him, not even dead!

I have had this happen to me twice now and I have still not found them

Is there an opening which it could've jumped out of?

Or anything it could be trapped under hidden in?

There is a lid so there is no way of jumping out and I have lifted everything up and checked it all over. Baffled!

One of life's unknown mysteries. I have gone with the theory that some fish abducting aliens have come and taken mine, seems the only reasonable and logical explanation lol

I think I've got to agree with you. There's some supernatural thing going on. He was a lovely looking fish though

if you have pets and the fish jumped out then they could have gotten taken away like that or flopped away from the tank and is hiding under something.
anything by the intake of the filter, or he got eaten when died.

I had this happen to an apple snail., I never found him after that!
