Missing Fish

hi all, i have[or had]a small female albino bristlenose, she was very active during the day putting in regular appearances, but i havnt seen her for 5 days now. i did a water change the other day and a tank remodel, egyptian theme and added 2 caves, and couldnt find her then either. just dissappered

any suggestions?

if i put a piece of cucumber in she was out in under 5 mins for a chow down, and now nothing.

If you've had a re-fit, that actually isn't a silly comment (the one above)... did you make sure you checked she wasn't inside something when refitting? I always am VERY cautious when taking things out of my tank.

i have just rang my son at home and suggested he looks at the recently added ornament of the temple 'abu simble'. its hollow, and inside was a dead albino bristlenose.

yup, fraid so.

she was rapidly becominmg my favorite fish, and not seeing her for a few days didnt bother me.
i spend most of my time at my partners and not much time at home, so i put it down to nocturnal behaviour.
