Hi,
I'm not sure what to do. There is an algae eater in my tank and I haven't seen him for a couple of weeks. There's a castle thing in the tank that him and the rainbow shark like to hide in, fair enough, but they hide so well you can NOT see them at all. The rainbow sticks his tail out now and again so I know he's ok, but what if the algae eater has died and is inside it? I hate the stupid thing, I know they like hiding places but this is just ridiculous, thing is I can't get them out of it to remove it from the tank. When we collected the tank and fish we had to transport both of them in it, we didn't even know there was a rainbow shark in it!!!! The rainbow hasn't been out for a couple of days either so I can't even take it out to have a good look in it and see if the algae eater is in there, and if he's still alive.
