Misbehaving Tetras

I have a 20 gallon that is home to 6 serpae tetras and 4 albino corys. My betta lived there briefly but had to move because the tetras were allacking him. Now one serpae, I call him Sharky, is stealing the cory's bottom feeder pellets. He defends the pellets agressivly and eats the whole thing as well as flake food when I feed the tetras. How can I be sure my corys are getting enough food?

Try feeding them the pellets at night when the lights are off, and separately to when you feed flake. I'm sure they'll be managing to find scraps but this will help.

I feed my corys in the same corner of the tank too - they do learn where it'll be.

Also you may want to get another 2-4 serpae (they behave better in larger groups) and 2 or so albino Corys.

You could also try pre soaking the algae pellets so they are nice and soft and drop them in then feed some flake to the other fish - they will be busy eating at the surface and the pellets will be soft enough for the corys to get some down!!
