I have a 25L (6.5 gal) tank that i want to keep a betta in, but the back wall is one big mirror. I know i can't keep a male, but how would a female feel about it?
Also, how do bettas feel about otos?

Carlovel1, some tanks come like that to make them seem larger

Luzi, female could be ok, but I'd personally get a bigger tank and keep a few females.

My tanks look like they have a mirror but its just the reflection. A fish in the water will just see it as glass not a mirror :hey:

I wouldn't be too sure about that carlovel1, I had one of my boys in the bathroom and right next to my wall mirror above the sink, and whenever he saw his reflection while the light was on, he would flare up, so they can see through glass, and definitely see their reflection. Most females wouldn't react to a reflection, but I would suggest a larger tank to house at least 4 females, a 6.5 gal will hold maybe two females, and they will pick on each other constantly in an effort to establish dominance.

some tanks actually have a mirror as the back panel thoo

I don't really want to get a bigger tank, i was just going to get a single female. Do they have to be in groups?

I recommend switching your lighting to florescent, or if you have to, compact florescent. Incandescent lighting causes the reflections you're seeing. Some bettas will be fine with it. Others will stress out. I've seen a number of bettas under incandescent lighting with bowfront plastic, acrylic, and sometimes square glass tanks that can see their reflections from the inside.

Assuming, of course, you're using incandescent lighting.
