We have a mirrored back to our tank and, with the right fish, I think they look really good. The Zebra Danios seem to find is re-assuring as they suddenly doubled in numbers! We have two paradise fish and the male had a problem with the mirror for a couple of days and used to flare at his reflection but he then just seemed to accept it no problem and it doesn't seem to bother him at all now!. Just buy yourself a mirror that's not too expensive and you won't be heartbroken to remove if your fish react badly!.
