So new camera arrived today (finally after months of waiting to have enough money) and Ive spent literally minutes  playing around with it, of course the fish had to be photographed, heck its the whole reason for the camera. So bear with me, as there is a lot, I wont post them all, because you would die of boredom :D Im loving the macro mode, just gotta spend a few weeks reading the instructions so I can get better shots.

very nice tanks and inhabitants1 love the Thorichthys Aureus, very beautiful fish, with their hundreds of babies!
i do want a couple of cichlids for my 240 liter, they are really nice, what is their temperament like?

Thanks, the aureus are very placid fish, except when spawning, then they are very territorial.

Yeah he's about 5", is the pink colouration on the tail normal? Looks a little infected to me? Been doing w/c to try and heal him.

He is not as shy as I thought he'd be and eating like a real piggy now :D

i havent seen any of your previous pics, i dont think, but these certainley look good :good:

Just a tip:
set the ISO lower to get rid of the noise, although it does handle well at ISO1600. I bet at 800 you hardly any
My camera shows the levels of noise you are getting at just ISO400  :grr:
thanks

Great pics Minx, fish are coming along nicely,
Iggy is a great addition too :good:

Noise? OK, now Im confused, but I will fiddle with the ISO settings, is lower better then?

Edit: So just googled it and I see what you mean :D

LOOKS like you have been having fun with your camera..

what kind of wood is that and where did you get it from. love the design of it.

The wood is redmoor root (the long spindley pieces) and mopani wood, all sourced from various shops, net and members on here :D

cool looks good.. i remmember when i collected that small tank of you i fell in love with your tank and i went out n brought a 4ft tank.. lol

am currently changing it from sand to black gravel but am trying to source decent looking wood.

its hard cause most sites will not show u exact pic but tell you what size it will be.
