Minnow Fish And Betta Fish?

Can Minnows go with Betta fish?

They should be fine together but it does depend on your Bettas temperament. He may well chase them but they are fairly active and quite fast so he may not bother with them. Minnows are not renowned for fin nipping so you should have no problems there.

If you can, then try and get 3 more as they prefer to be in groups.

My mom is making me get rid of them but lol...I took 3 and put them with chance. If I take 3 more she will notice.

See if you can sneak 2 more out. They really do need to be kept in groups of 5+.

FTBgirl are these wild caught minnows that is used for fishing or white cloud minnow?

They are Rosey Red Minnows that I got at the pet store.

Whew I thought you did what I did ummmm 30 odd years ago. Steal my brothers minnows and stuck them in goldfish tank.
