I'm from the Minneapolis are and looking for Java Moss/Fern for my Betta. Can any one tell me what stores here may have these plants?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Yeah, I was going to recommend this one. Great store, I think far far better than the sister store in Hopkins. I'm actually going to be going there to pick up some Java Moss tonight (pretty sure they have it, not positive)!heresmike said:Another good shop and closer to you is Aqualand Aquarium Center in Hopkins. It's been a while since I made that long drive, and don't remember their plant selection. Might be worth a call to them! They have another shop in So Mpls that I go to quite often and they have Java Fern.
Hi Max Action! I've only been to Terre Quatics once, and it was during their move to the new location, so he wasn't all set up yet. I'll have to go back one of these days... the guy at the store was real nice.Max Action said:Terre Quatics in Champlin is all freshwater, and they have a ton of plants (the guy who runs it is a plant dude I think),
I don't know if the Har Mar Pet Shop has Java Moss/Fern. Most of their plants aren't labeled, and I'm not good at identifying aquatic plants. They do have lots and lots of plants though and some gorgeous planted tanks! I got a couple of Corkscrew Vallisneria plants - they were 98 cents each. I think I'm going to go get more.lizard said:In the Har Mar Mall in St. Paul (technically in Roseville, perhaps?), there's a pet store. They have lots of plants and fish. I don't know if they have Java Fern or Moss. I'll check today when I go there.
A World of Fish does have Java Fern - I got some from there yesterdayheresmike said:I've shopped at A World Of Fish in Richfield (66th St near Cedar)... still a bit of a drive for you, but for me too and I think it's worth the drive! They have a pretty good selection of plants and I think I've seen Java Fern there.
