What is the minimum sized ank for an angel fish. Can the tank be 3 foot long, having a height higher than 18 inches. What is the minimum gallon size to house an angel fish?

Territory wise, an angel needs at least 10 gallons. Space wise, an angel needs a tank that's 18" tall so yes, a 3ft tank that's 18" is a good size. There's not really a good "minimum gallon size" just because of the way tanks are built and sold. So, a good guideline is that the tank must be 18" tall b/c generally any tank that's 18" tall is going to be big enough for angels.

I'd say the minimum for a single angel or a pair is 18" tal, 30" wide (standard 29 gallon)

Definitly not.
Discus are very different to Angel fish.
