A 10 G tank is perfectly acceptable, maybe even a 7 galloon tank( a 10 G is about 40 L ). Borelli's are small little fish. If you get a pair, they won't show any agression. They are also very pretty. Good choice IMO . They would look great in a planted tank aswell.
i was thinking about putting them in a planted river reef, 40 litres? would that be too small? theres more than enough filtration on them
