I had posted days ago now that my tank had a mini cycle...was advised to do water changes and keep checking the levels. had to treat the tank for a case of ich in the same time.
the levels were
a0/ni.25/na20/ph8.2
it was the same every evening for several days
tonight I went to do my usual fish thing and couldnt find a fish, well found him and he was dead, but had been fine earlier in the day. tonights levels were
a.50/ni.50/na20/ph8
I dont get it, why is it getting worse instead of better? my live plants dont look so hot....could they be slowly rotting and causeing the spikes? I thought live plants were good for the tank.
29 gallon, over filtered with one 10-20 gallon filter and one 20-40 gallon filter, no carbon being used, I filled the filters up with ceramic bits and filter fuzz-cloth whatever you call it localy.
now 6 platys 4 guppys 1 baby molly
