Mini-Cycle?

I recently got a new marineland penguin bio-wheel350 to replace my aqueon 30 but the media that I have is only enough for about half the slots, so my question is if I switch over all of my mature media and add the new media to it so there's more buildup of beneficial bacteria and no wasted space, would I get a mini cycle?

No. The amount of bacteria is the same.

Ok thanks. How should I do the media? There is 4 slots and room at the front and back. I have 1 cartridge full of good bacs, 2 sponges full of good bacs, and about enough ceramics full of good bacs to fill half the open spots, and enough unused ceramics for the rest, then whatever else I can put in, more sponges, cartridges etc.
