Teeny tiny

I was telling Sorrell earlier about my "mini betta" from my red spawn, so I snapped his pic and figured you guys might get a kick out of him too. Out of 300 someodd fish this is the only one who is tiny,everyone else is average...he's just special

Somehow he has managed to hold his own all of this time in the 55 gallon that holds the remaining 150+ reds. I noticed him a few weeks ago and he kept catching my eye a few days in a row (which is hard to do in a crowd that size!),but he looked all clampy so I decided to pull him for his own welfare. Now his personality is starting to show and he's really just too cute.

Probably,I'm sure no one else would want him And he's fine here with me. He's even found himself on the "live worm" diet, only a select crew get the live food everyday (the younger crowd) and he is now one of them.

It would be interesting to try to breed him and see if any of his offspring come out tiny too.... midget bettas!
I have a crowntail girl who is half the size of all my other females. I figured she was just young when I bought her, but she has never grown... she's a fiesty little thing though! I love her to bits

Edit: .... But seriously. If you don't want to keep him for whatever reason, I'd be happy to pay shipping *wink wink nudge nudge*

Oh! Isn't he just so teeny and adorable. Now just think - if someone could find a way to breed miniature bettas and remove that unreasonable aggressive gene from them - we could have huge tanks full of betta boys and girls. Think of the possibilties!
