I've had my fish tank for alsmot 15 years now and my guppies are always having babies. But this last patch of fry (23 in total) only grew half of the size of what they were born. Both parents are fancy guppies. Those fish are now 4 months old so I figured they won't grow much more...if they do at all.... I asked on a local petstore and they told me miniature guppies do exist. is that possible?  50 gallon tank with 10 more guppies other than the 23, 4 month old once

After doing some research I did find an article where a person was going to try and develop miniature guppies, but I don't know if they have been widely successful. All other reading I could find about possible miniature guppies related to possible stunting, inbreeding or even crosses between guppies and endlers. In theory miniature guppies are possible but most shops and specialist guppy breeders and developers want larger guppies to fully show of their colours and tail types.

I don't have endlers, but they will probably grow some more. still thanks!!! And if they don't grow then I have unintentionally breed miniature guppies
