I have been thinking about doing an African set up in my 33 gallon for a long time.
Is a 33 gallon too small? Or will it work? I have 2 Aqua Clear filters one AC 70, and one AC 50.
I would need to get rid of all my plants and such, and change the substrate.
Is this a good idea?
Recomendations more than welcome.

I have been told by many that it would be okay to have some Africans in a tank of this size. Nice to get some opinions and avise, though.

ok - with that dimension tank you could get away wit hmaybe having a species tank of saulosi 1M 6F or maybe 3/4 yellow labs and 3/4 rusties that sort of thing.

think you maybe be pushing anymore when they get a bit bigger

Mk, cool. I would love to have a species tank. I'll get check out some saulosi profiles now. Yellow labs are cool too.
Thanks :)

The fish in my avatar and sig are BOTH WC Saulosi in my tank - hope you like the look of them.. :hey:

Mhmmm, they're really nice, I do like the look of them. But I think I'm going to go with a group of Lamprologus calvus. I really like the look of them, and I can keep my plants lol.
