I'm shopping around for a cheap pressurized CO2 system for my 70 gallon tank. I'm getting the cylinder at a local shop, and because no aquarium store in town sells CO2 equipment, I have to order the regulator online. This regulator is fairly cheap at $85 USD; it has a built in solenoid switch, bubble counter and needle valve.

The solenoid switch is meant to be plugged into a PH controller, but according to the manual, all you have to do is plug the solenoid switch into a wall outlet.

It should work independently of the Ph controller unless its a special make or something but i doubt it, id say it will work fine, but might be best for someone else to chip in and see what they say.

It says that it works independently of the pH controller.
