I am struggling to find any mid ground plants can anyone recomend any preferably low light one please help much appreciated
 
crypts the taller one's, blyxa Japonica (may need higher light) Eleocharis Vivipara Sagittaria Subulata
 
There are some anubias that can be midground plants

Midground ones i have valis at the back a java fern and two other plants but these are all tall
 
I like crossfire's suggestion. It's what I was going to mention as well. There are a few species that stay shorter and make nice mid-ground plants. They are also low light and very hardy and not too picky.
