Well as your holding almost half a tonne I'd go with at least 2x1 inch steel bar.

you will also need to be a skilled fabricator and welder. (the request, itself, indicates you are not either of the former) or have a very understanding insurance company.
unless you all three of the above.
Don't do it, it'll hurt!

Juwel tanks have a "floating base" (meaning the sides rest on the base, not around it)
this stand would need to be perfect, on every angle and every level.
having seen a Rio split, because it was a few millimetres out of level, and seen the damage only 180l can do.
re read line three of my post.

Il be asking a mate to put it together who's trained. I just needed to know the metal as he's on holiday at mo so couldn't ask him I can get the metal for next to nothing due to my job. And if it breaks that's the risk anyone takes if they make there own stand plus it wil be in my shed for a bit til I know it's safe gf would kill me if it destroyed the settie

Altho maybe a good idea to maybe change the type of tank

You would be better off getting two bare tanks and placing them on poly sheets, that way any minor imperfections can be smoothed out.

Also considerably cheaper than getting two Juwel tanks and allows you to build your own hood, select your own lighting, etc. If you mount two pre-fab tanks on a DIY metal frame it will look tacky IMO.

That's a very good idea aqua iv made hoods before there easy anuf but il be leaving the stand to a mate il get the bare tanks gives me a project to do also
