just seen a thread with these guys in it and they look lovely :D
done a quick look at a few profiles and think they should be ok for my tank altho my water may be a bit soft it's only 4-5 in hardness, ph is 7. tank size is 36x15x18inch.
i realise they should be kept as a group and would go with 3males and 4 or 5females.

the question is would they go with my existing stock of 10 neons and however many endlers?

How many endlers? You will be quite overstocked if you add more fish since endlers produce rapidly. If you can determine the exact # that would be good.

Oh and rainbows may spook the whatsit out of your other fish

i have 4 adult endlers, 1male 3female and 12 fry, 4@3weeks, 4@2weeks and 4 just born.
going on the inch per gal rule (which i know is not reliable but i'm new to these fish) 8rainbow and 10 neons gives me 26 from 42, so i could poss have about 16 endlers altho i was hoping someone would double check and advise on these numbers.

but if you reckon the rainbows would spook the whatsit out of the existing stock then they probably aren't really compatible?

In my experience my rainbows used to scare the daylights out of my cardinal tetras. They are too skittish

yeah, i think my neons were henpecked by the adult endlers at first but they seem to be better now.

so if i decide i Really, Really want these dwarf neon rainbows it would more than likely mean i'd need to get another tank?
any idea what else i could put in with them, again something quite small, no bigger than the dnr?
