Melafix For White Spot?

Hey everyone,

My fish have recently had an out break in white spot, i have read about the temps and the chemicals to use, but i was wondering if i could use melafix, would that work in treating the white spot infection? Im going to get a white spot treatment tomoro but i was just wondering if the melafix would do anything to help with white spot. Anything else i could do to help with the white spot? I have 2 tanks that are infected. 1 has 5 corys (sterbai, pepper), fighter fish, 2 blue rams. The other has 9 american flags and 2 yoyos. Yes i know these tanks might not be compatable but i just want to figure out the best thing to do with the white spot. Thanks in advance.

No melafix is no good for whitespot it just for cuts and wounds.
Turn temp up for now to 30, but increase aeration in the tank as the high temp and med will reduce 02 in the tank.
Get the med fast as whitespot soon kills a fish.
