When I woke up Saturday morning it was lightly snowing out. We had only a dusting of snow on the ground from previous snow flurries. This is what my yard looks like 24 hours later!!! We got over 2 feet of snow. We never got out of our driveway until 4 PM. It's only December. I can't imagine what it's going to be like in Feb.

well i am just a big kid at heart and i love the snow, last time we had any decent covering was feb 2001 and my village was cut off.
We had just arrived home with our new baby, no idea what to do with her - they never sent an instruction manual - and the midwife couldnt get to us !! ;-)

lets all concentrate really hard, and will that snow storm over here ;-)
when i were a lad i remember missing school after new year having spent new year with my family at my grandparents house and we got snowed in for days, cars in the street were completely burried in the snow

going even farther back, an uncle of mine used to work on the trains, and he recalls how the trains dug a tunnel under several meters of snow, and not too long ago when trams still ran in bradford, one got stuck in the snow, and was totally burried near a pub.
the locals dug a tunnel, across the road, through the tram, out the other side and into the pub - a well documented tale here

these days a harsh frost like the one this morning is usually the worst we see :-(

I'm with Andy, absolutely love the snow, unfortunately we get even less down here than the rest of the country due to the solent :(

Yeah, I remember the times when we got loads of snow, used to not be able to tell what was where and my friends and I used to be kept back from school cause it was too snowy and could spent time outside...

one year i lost my wellies and had to walk home in my bare feet....silly me went and jumped straight in the bath...slight touch of chillblaines and my feet went a funny colour and hurt for ages!! -_-

always good fun...where has all the snow gone! :(

 Im waiting when it start to snow here, i want to go to ski... It's odd, but here it isn't snow at all and yesterday there were storm and it was raining WATER! What the hell is wrong??
