Meet Myst

i bought her from petsmart two days ago, she is currently in the guppys old home a 2.5 gallon tank. i am thinking once the ten gallon goes though the filtering maybe introduce her into the tank with the guppy and two new mollies. my only concern at the moment is that the guppy is faily agressive and i don't think myst has what it takes to defend herself. she is itty bitty i have to brake the pellets up for her so she can eat. reminds me alot of rayne when i first got her. rayne was itty bitty too. she has a very charming personiality already. she is very responcive to everything around her.
any ways i bable. myst joins my growing colletion of bettas. i now have two boys two girls. jasper storm and rayne.

i would like to say i picked her, but she really picked me. at the store when i was looking at the girls she would follow me in her little cup i just couldn't pass her up. mind you i had no intention of getting another fish i was getting a set up for a new tank.
i love her eyes. might try introducing her to rayne my other girl when myst gets a bit bigger.

She looks like Fauna, my 12 week old baby that I got from Azulfire24. I have to crush pellets for her as well. The problem with Fauna is she keeps trying to beat up on her tank mate Cory (a cory cat). Everytime Cory tries to eat Fauna chased him away from his algae wafer. Myst is a pretty baby.

corys like it dark, and betas tend to sleep when their tank is dark, turn off the light or throw a toel over the tank if its in a room that u cant turn the lights off, then feed the cory after its been dark for like 15 minits, baby fauna will get sleepy and the cory will be more active. or you could wait till morning and feed the cory first and not turn the lights on yet. hows she dooing?

Sorry Sailornight6, but I can't help bragging about my new baby. Fauna is great. She is getting her fathers green coloring. Fauna has the cutest face (like Myst) but, the devil lives behind those little eyes. She is very curious and likes to swim inbetween the (fake) plants I have in the tank, but she lives to chase Cory. Not just when Cory has food but she waits until he comes out from his spot, she goes to the top of the tank, and then swims from the top of the tank right at him. Cory being shy as he is, takes off, and she chases him. No nipping, it just looks like a game of tag and Cory is always it!
She is just the best!!!

Oh Azulfire, filter-boy is also good. He keeps flaring at Charlie and Charlie ignores him! Silly boy

i catch her looking up alot at jaspers tank, she is a little lower then he is, so she can see him but he doesn't see her. i am thinking if the cycling goes well in the ten gallon maybe introduce her in the tank with the guppy and two mollies. (thats if the little buggers don't kill each other first *sigh*)

They are so funny. One day they get along, the next day they are nipping at everything that swims their way. Some like guppies and some like guppies for nipping at.
