Meet My New Boy

so, today I got up as my hubby told me my betta had arrived, so flew downstairs, opened up the box and...initial dissappointment...not my boy, with no girls!!!! As I had ordered 4 girls for my sorority, and my boy.
I get on the phone, supplier, very apologetic, contacts other purchaser, and sure enough, he recieved my parcel....grrr
anyway, we came to a compromise, I am taking this little boy, and hes keeping his
And i shall recieve 4 different girls next week

so here's Junior

Junior is very shy, and doesnt really flare for a mirror. i shall let him settle in and try to get a better photo later

He's so cute! He looks like his head belongs to another fish and has been stuck on his body. I saw one like him in my LFS once and wanted him so bad, but didn't have the room. Good luck with him.

he has green iridescence on his tail and anal fin....i think he'll be a gem as he grows, hes quite timid...i assume its because he's young. he's only 1 and half inches from mouth to tail

hes prob right around the 3 month mark. he is sooooo cute. i love his piebald face. he will be a fun one to watch grow. dont freak out if his coloring changes dramatically. marbles like that are very interesting to watch mature. sometimes they practically change color/pattern overnight.

thanks, I am expecting him to change completely really as I have heard marbles are colour changers. i hope he keeps his green iridescence though, its really pretty, |Cant really see it in any of the photos,but its beginning to become more evident as the hours pass, so we shall see.
