Ended up with 4…

Does anyone know what his color pattern is called?

I have a crowntail with a similar pattern, but don’t know what this pattern is called…

Does each Betta have their own tank? Are they all males?

Not all of my bettas are males, the dark blue one (2nd picture) is female. I have 8 females and 8 males. All the females are in a 20 gallon long with lots of schooling fish and hiding places. I have 2, 5 gallon split tank for the males. That covers 4. One male I bought sick from a pet store and is in a 1.4 gallon quarantine (I’m going to re-home him when he recovers). That’s 5. Another male is in a 5 gallon by himself. That’s 6. Another male is living in a 10 gallon. That’s 7. Another male is heading to quarantine and will be re-homed after recovery. That’s all 8 males.
