Great looking tank and that is one long plant. I'd like to get my hands on a 300 some time.


p.s. does your african clawed frog do ok in the 300, he's not missing any bits where fish have had the munchies!!!

No hes not missing any bits but he sometimes breaks his fingers swimming into stuff!
The plant is about 4 foot stretched out. The plants grow pretty well considering its standard Juwel lighting and the fish uproot everything!

its the other way round!

clawed frogs are fish eaters given the chance.

Yea he had two small clown loaches and a small hybrid cichlid. Totally ignored the baby mollies which were intended as food though!

Cant remember the name of the plant but i do have the little card thing somewehere...
That is the Juwel background i have, they were £30 a panel! The pics are ok but the fish kept wizzin past and going blurry

If my memory is right the plant is called an onion plant and its latin name is Crinum thaianum.

Yea it is an onion plant, i cannot however confirm the latin name. What do you mean by the third background? The third that Juwel have made? It is the newest one out at the moment i believe. To be honest i dont actually 'maintain' it as such, my bristlenose takes care of that.
