Meet Jetta!
 
I work for Volkswagen, so how could a NOT have a Jetta the betta??
 
He is super happy in his Fluval View. He has 2 nerite snail pals, yet unnamed.

I should add that I did have to further baffle the filter outputs. Even with sponges in the little slots, it still created quite the current. So I ended up cutting long pieces of sponge and rubberbanding them to the output spouts so that the sponge pieces actually touch the water. There's barely any current, and it doesn't bother Jetta at all now.

majerha1 - Yes, I have a heater st at 78. It fits in the filter compartment which I kind of like because it doesn't take up any space of actual swimming area.
 
He has been a little bit quiet today - resting and hiding a lot. I am hoping this is just from the stress of the move. The tank is cycled, and the water parameters are all fine. He doesn't have any obvious signs of illness. I feel bad for him if he's scared. Hopefully he'll get used to things around here. When he is swimming around, he swims fine and doesn't have any trouble reaching the surface for air. And he's not gasping or breathing heavily. I guess it's a huge transition from a tiny cup to 4 gallons of space.
