This is indi (thanks to netty for the name) and he is the best coloured betta ive EVER seen at P@h. He is blue/purple and his tail goes white/pink! :)
Hes settling in amazingly! he loves watching me from the corner of the tank and whenever i put my finger up he goes crazy! he loves bubble nesting too :)

Photos dont do him justice, he just looks blue :|

hes got a little slit in his tail, but im sure it will cure.

Awwww he's gorgeous CJ and that split will heal up in no time with clean water :good: He's got such a cute little white face too!!!!

You know, i dont know - I think hes a halfmoon and thats another reason i got him. All other bettas at Pah are VTs.

Just a little update, put 3 pellets in his tank before i went to bed yesterday, i was lying in bed and everything was quiet.. i then heard this CRUNCH come from the tank and quickly turned the light on to make sure Indi was okay, turns out hes just eating the pellets and crunching on them lmao! He kind of looked at me in a ''Do you mind, im eating!'' way when i turned the light on. He normally stays at the back of the tank, but when the lights off i can see him come out the front and explore a bit more - Hes so much more livelier (sp?) than my first betta who just layed on the bottom of the tank and died the next day (He was in the tank with Black Widdows though at my LFS). Whenever i go over to the tank to see him he blows a couple of bubbles for me! Hes my pride and joy! - Love him!!

He look to be a Veiltail CJ. A halfmoon would have a caudal fin shaped like a D and must have a minimum 180 degree spread to the tail when completely open.

Mine like to crunch their pellets very loudly too.....it's so funny when you hear them  and it's great to hear you've got yourself a really healthy boy this time :good:

Ah right, thanks for that Netty, it thought he was a Halfmoon because his tail is more rounded at the end whereas all the VTs i have seen are more of a V tail. Cant wait to get my soroity tank cycled, started the cycle today! How many females do you think i could have in a 110L (100 leaving room for gravel and some wood and plants?)

You can see the 'crease' i was on about there, Netty.

Just for fun ;)

WOW.....a 24 gal sorority tank :hyper: You could probably have about 16 girls in there and a nice group of cories would be good too :good:

Well, i made a coconut cave last sunday and decided to add it today along with a moss ball. I think indis approved, dont you!?

The only think that i could get him out with was shaking his food infront of the tank, he shot out and swam straight to the top

''Can i help?!''

There was even bubbles coming out the 3 holes on top while indi was inside! ;)

And the 24 Gal sorority (mum wants me to get some oscars or something, but i want nettys bettas! :)) is cycling now, saw the first drop in ammonia today so all is good! :)

My first doggy was called indi, loved it to bits.
I love that name so much!
:good:
