Medium Sized African Tetras?

Looking for a group to put with my archers.

was thinking congo tetras but didnt know if there were any others out there...need to be big enough not to get eaten by a 5" archer...

Congos work well and have always wanted to keep a group of yellow tail congos one but have to say I'd go for the African Red Eyes (Arnoldichthys spilopterus) if you can get them. Great fish, easily sexed and really laid back, great shoaling fish. Had them for years and one of my all time fav fish but not seen any about in a very long time

I think congo tetras would be alright. Red eyes might be too small, and Ialso think they're South American, not African.
