Sorry, found link yesterday but cant today  I know you have to be careful what you give fish, so can someone recommend me a good fin rot treatment for my bronze cory? Will be buying today and picking up the hospital tank - hopefully it'll get better quickly, poor thing cant really swim properly

I am going to move this to tropical emergencies. Cories are definitely not common livebearers.

oops sorry, so used to posting there! medication is in the tank now. unfortunately couldnt wait to get a hospital tank, so theyve all got it :/

Myxazin by Waterlife is good for fin rot/body rot! If it's just a mild bout you could try Melafix. Also, increase aeration if poss.

Fin rot is a bacterial disease - any idea what your tank stats are? Make sure you're not overfeeding, too, as this can be a cause as it pollutes the water quickly and causes ammonia/nitrite spikes, which stress the fish and cause these bacterial diseases or worse.

Regards - Athena

That's fine to medicate the whole tank, although if you have snails I'm not sure how they take to medications.
